How to get started with live tournaments
« on: June 22, 2009, 16:00:04 PM »
Hi,

I"m primarily an online poker player, the only live poker experience I have is from my brothers home game.  However, I"ve really got into poker recently and I"d love to give a live tournament a try.  I live in the Manchester area but I"m willing to travel.  Can anyone recommend a good starting tournament in or around the Manchester area?  Or even further afield, I don"t mind.  I look forward to your suggestions.

Thanks,

Karl

I would agree that the Dusk Till Dawn Club in Nottingham is by far the best card room out there , plus you can speak to some of the pro players that pop in and out from timw to time . Very good surroundings ..
