You"re not one of them any more.

Now the WCOAP is done and dusted, I will be looking at the short-list of "contenders" and putting together a final team of four.

I"ll contact each one privately and see if they are still interested in playing and can make the dates.  If not, I"ll then go through an alternates list.

Hoping to do this during the week.

Can I be considered please Dan?

My main credential for selection is that you stay at my house when you"re playing at DTD so if I don"t get in you"ve got to start paying for hotels.

I"m not actually available to play but it would be nice to know that I would"ve got in if I could make it.

Thankyou please.

Hahaha!

If you"re not available to play, then yes - you"d definitely have been in the team.

Really??

Oh thanks Dan that"s fantastic news and a great honour to have been the first official selection for the England team.

Unfortunately I won"t be able to  make it as I"m away visiting friends.

I"m sorry to let you down as obviously you wanted me in the team cus I"m dead good but you might still have a chance without me. I"m sure there"s at least one England player other than me who know"s what they"re doing.

Good luck finding that player and good luck team England.

Noooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I was planning on building the team around you as well.  Never mind, we"ll have to go for Plan B now instead.  Sigh...

I'm first choice, it's just that Dan does not know it yet.  ;)

Dan,

Cheers for the PM.  I"m really honoured that you would want me as first choice in your team, however, as I have mentioned before, I am Welsh.

I did as you asked, and have looked back over my family tree, but unfortunately it"s 100% Welsh.

Surely your other applications cannot be as bad as you have suggested ?

Best of luck scraping a team together, just remember, it"s the taking part that counts.

Dan,

Cheers for the PM.  I"m really honoured that you would want me as second choice in your team, however, as I have mentioned before, I am Scottish.

I did as you asked, and have looked back over my family tree, but unfortunately it"s 100% Scottish.

Surely your other applications cannot be as bad as you have suggested ?

Dan,

Cheers for the PM.  I"m really honoured that you would want me as third choice in your team, however, as I have mentioned before, I am an administrator.

I did as you asked, and have looked back over my contract, but unfortunately it"s 100% non play.

Surely your other applications cannot be as bad as you have suggested ?

Best of luck scraping a team together, just remember, it"s the taking part that counts.
