Stuart,

I"ve just had a look into my family background and it"s amazing what you can find.

I am really proud to be able to say that I am in no way whatsoever eligible to play for Scotland.

What a result !!!!!!!  (For both of us  ;) )

As it looks as though you are struggling Stuart, I would like to put my name forward. I think that I qualify because,

I can drink large amounts of Whisky, and partial to a few heavies

My arms are 30" long, but my pockets measure 35"( as with most scotsman)

I can sometimes be devoid of humour

I do not feel the cold, as I have ample covering

Looking forward to your PM

and the second player to join the 2009 Scottish Team is:

James "Eck" Eccles

James pictured above at the APAT Scottish National Championship 2008 where he came 6th is the second player to join this years team. I am very pleased that Eck has agreed to join the team and I"m sure he will use his extensive poker experience to good use.

Eck came 2nd in the APAT Scottish National Championship in 2007 as well as 6th the following year, but the highlight of his poker career to date must be cashing in the World Series of Poker in July 2008 - finishing 516th for just over $25,000.

Rumour has it that he sat out the bubble at the bar! (another good reason to be chosen for the Scottish team  ;))

As well as the results above Eck has had a very successful time online with numerous large cashes. I have also watched him play cash on several occasions and would suggest he has a strong game at any format.

Congratulations Eck, welcome to the team.
