Just applied for the ESTA visa waiver thingy - it gave me authorisation immediately - now being a natural cynic is that it?- has it been done? do I have to do anything else ?

I did them for out recent trip to the US and still had to fill in all the cards on the plane and there was no difference at immegration either.  ???
