Blair Kirkland is out

In his own words

"Got down to about 8BB, saw AQ, pushed over top of raiser and got called by 55. I got no help. Out in about 80th of 130 I think. "

I"m bereft. I think I will repeat all my puns from earlier in the coming posts.

My favourite was "Leigh Wiltshire was forlawn, Mower beats him with trip Queens against Trip Jacks"

Unfortunately with the earlier thread deletion we"ve lost all of the posts relating to the "name two of the finalists" competition.  We"ll open this again tomorrow with a "name one of the medalists from the remaining players at the end of day one".  You can post your entry on the day two live update thread (moderator intervention permitting  ;D)  The winner will get an option to buy into the English Amateur Championship in Bolton in October, without going through the clickfest.

Please support our competition sponsor and buy a tub of Oxi Action Max today.

 blinds now 600-1200-100

Still 69 mleft average 18,000 so we are going to see a lot of attrition now

Ken Armstrong has doubled up 10 10 on a 10 9 3 flop

On the same table

Mary Martin 13,000
Gordon MacArthur 20,000
Paul McGuinness 23,000
Leigh Wiltshire 20,000
George Dickosn 40,000

Elsewhere Daniel Kinboshi Phillips 20,000..Rupinder Bedi over 20,000
