Thank goodness for Logie66 and Hollaboo, otherwise it would have been a total blank day.

I must admit, some of the races today were just mad to call.

Leaderboard updated on the front page of this thread.

One more day to go.  Most need to find a £500+ return from somewhere.

If you know of any dead certs, let me know as I"m down there again tomorrow for the last day of the festival.

Good luck all.

Glorious Goodwood.  Gloriously raining, visibility zero.

Highly entertaining though.  The course commentator on the first race, got three furlongs out, then just said "Hopefully we"ll pick them up again from about 1 furlong out, until then your guess is as good as mine"

The whole place just started laughing.

Had a great exacta come in on the Nassau, with Midday and Rainbow View.  Saw Midday on the rails going into the mist, thinking this is in with a good chance, Rainbow View seemed nowhere.  They came out of the mist 1,2 and luckily stayed that way.

Just working out final returns for the week, and I will update the leaderboard and announce a winner.

And we have a winner.

On the last day of the Festival, Rob "Swinebag22" Swindells bags a massive bet with £100 to win on the 11-2 Nassau Stakes winner Midday to take his total return to £696.36.

But he was rivered in the Stewards Cup, where James "ThinkerJE" Edwards finally got a return on his tips.  His £50 to win on the 14-1 shot, Genki saw him pocket £700 when it won through in the 26 runner race.

So James wins by the princely sum of £3.64.  Sick or what ?

Well done to James, chipset available for you by collection at DTD later in the month or I can ship it to you if you pm me delivery details.

Well done to all for taking part.  It"s not the winning that counts, blah blah blah, etc etc etc.
