5000 starting chips would be better I think.

even with the 53 runners yesterday another 106,000 chips in play could have given a finishing time of around 2-3am and not the midnight finish as it was.  if in future events there were to be a full compliment of 80 entrants then an extra 160k in play could extend it even further on till 4-5am  not a good idea i think.

it was a good day though, buffet was great and plenty of it. think the structure was good. cant wait till the next one
Poker is like life, some you win some you loose. but never bluff as sooner or later you will be found out.

The feedback I was getting on the day was that the structure was fine as it is. With a 14:30 start in a 53 player tourney the winner was "crowned" at 23:30 which I felt was spot on. The lack of a 150-300 Blind was mentioned to me twice but at 30mins most others didn"t think it was necessary to keep the brown 25 chips on the table after the 75-150 blinds.
