English Championship - Bolton.
« on: August 23, 2009, 02:24:03 AM »
I"m hoping to buy in to the English Championship in Bolton. (October 24th & 25th.)
Am i right in thinking tickets for direct buy in are on sale at 9pm on 17th September? How many tickets are likely to be available and how fast will they go?

I"d love to play poker in my first APAT Championship on my birthday weekend with a couple of mates.

Also... Anyone know of any cheap hotels or travelodges within walking distance of the casino?

Many Thanks.

Mike.

Hi Mike and welcome to APAT :)

You are correct the Clickfest is on Thursday, 17 September at 9pm.

It averages how many tickets are available, depends on how many seats are taken via the satellites earlier that week.

Not sure about cheap hotels or travelodges near the casino at Bolton but I am sure many who have been there will fire a few on this thread for you.

Thanks for the info guys!

A couple things i"d like to query...

Do you have to be a member of the casino? And are championships usually held on 10 seater or 6 seater tournament tables?

Cheers.

10 Seater tables which normally play 9 handed on day two, with a 9 handed final table.
