Allan Deuchars stands to a sympathetic round of applause as he exits first on day 1b.  As Allan made his way off the tournament floor, cheeky grins started to break out all over the place from players delighted that his fate wasn"t theirs.

Three alternates in today.

So far 156 runners today, 313 in total for a whopping £31,300 prize pool

No more alternates on the list, if you are close by and fancy it, come and find me!

Matt Russell has doubled up through Chen Tam, who is now out

Matt in the BB

Raise to 300 in EP, Chen calls, Matt calls with  ah 5h

flop A-4-5

check, raiser bets 550, Chen calls, Matt makes it 1650.

Raiser flat calls, Chen shoves for 7,500 more. Matt shoves. Raiser passes

Chen has A-J.

Matt now has 23,000
