Really enjoyed playing in the HORSE last night and feel both really pleased and dissapointed with 4th place to bubble the medals.
I can only echo some of the previous comments about how superb the dealers and staff at DTD were. It"s one thing knowing the rules, but then to execute all of the variants with us lot chipping in with various levels of knowledge and understanding is another - Well Done DTD & APAT for a great event, more of the same please.
I was really pleased with my overall play yesterday although I did have a mad couple of hold "em hands back to back where I donked off 40% of my stack to the eventual winner. I managed to build myself back up but then was outdrawn twice with good hands in Omaha 8/B against short stacks all-in (having never played Omaha before Thursday if there"s one thing I"ve learnt it"s a game of outdraws).
Andrew was then relentless with his big-stack bullying immediately to my right, played the chip-lead superbly well, gave me nothing for free and was a worthy winner battering my stack down in the process.
Great Tourney, once again well done APAT esp Des, Rich & Leigh.
And finally, as I was eventually knocked out by Jon Woodfield (he"s played Razz before apparently) I have changed my sig in honour of him
