on-line sunday game
« on: September 20, 2009, 23:02:44 PM »
I have only played a couple of Sunday on-line games with APAT,  could some one explain how the team side of things work. ?

Are players on the same team supposed to avoid playing hands against each other ?

tonight I played at the same table as our captain & at least 2 other Liverpool players, I raised with  QQ folds round to team mate who re-raisers I call. the flop Q 6 T he pushes I call with my set, he shows AA & hits A on the river.

so I am gone no problem there the hand played its self, i sat & watched for a bit where my team mate questioned my call to his reraise,
then another team mate says I had raised team mates a few times & he was also not aware i was part of the Liverpool team, now the more regular lads my know each other by name but a newbie like me does not, my avatar if you click on it says i am from Liverpool, the lad who said he did not know which team i was with, did not have any town city name on his avatar.
he was also wrong when he said I raised my team mates all the time I raised once with AK & with a Liverpool team mate either side of me what do I do?

I am not having a go at any one
I am just asking how it works, am I trying to cash ? win the thing? avoid playing against team mates ?

hope i have explained it properly & some can help

cheers

You can play however you like buddy. I was at table at the time and Andy does not like to get involved with team mates , neither do i for that matter. But that hand defo played itself . It was poor that we all on same table but that just how it works out sometimes . Some people play this completely for them selves at end of day you pay your money u take your choice. I do play softer with teammates and have half sacrificed my chips sometimes as captain i put team ahead of individual and i dont care about 10 bucks.
Obviously up to individuals how they play hope to see you there again mike
All the Best Steve
