Big hello to all of you!  8h  ;D

Our team consists of Chris Strangl (NPC), Walter Schauhuber, Peter Lechner, Tom Ebster and N.N. - it would be great to add a lady!

We are looking forward to meet you, win in a relaxed mood some honour and maybe find some more red-white-red-players in the world!

Kind regards,

Chris

Can I hear the Luton roar? "It"s red, it"s white..." No, no Danish dynamite! A peace of Mozart would do it, and we could waltz the trophies home...  :-*

Chris,

I"ve a feeling you guys will add to the atmosphere in Luton.  Really looking forward to meeting you all.

Who"s your main National rivalry with ?

Obviously every team from the UK just wants to beat the English.   ;)

Disappointed in you Leigh!!

I"d like to point out that this almost racist hatred within the UK is unidirectional towards the English.  when england failed to make the last Football championship finals, I shouted for Scotland (as representatives of the UK).... I can"t imagine too many Scots (or Welsh/Irish) will shout for England when we are the sole representatives at the next World Cup!!

That"s just indicative of the jealousy demonstrated by these small Celtic countries, and a failure to recognise that if it weren"t for England and Great Britain, nobody would ever have heard of them.

If it wasn"t for England, we would be seen on the Olympic stage as B rather than GB.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the very best to the Scots, Welsh, and Irish for this competition. (after all, our little, insignificant, poorer cousins need all the help they can get!)

Now, back to the thread (sorry for hijacking)......  Austria - isn"t that a suburb of Germany?  ;)

Just stating the facts.   ;D

If the Welsh weren"t there, would happily support the English, along with the Irish and Scots (At a push).

The rivalry all makes for a great two days of poker, just as long as the Welsh beat the English.   ;)

Sorry to disturb you guys!  ;D ;D ;D

Yes, we could easily heat up things with some talk about German-Austrian clashes... But we don"t! We even help them to count to 5, so that they are able to find out if they have a straight or a flush or not!!!

Kind regards,

chris
