I'll buy your seat. (Is this okay Des?)
« on: October 07, 2007, 14:34:26 PM »
If anyone wants to flog their seat for the national in Walsall next month I"ll have it, as long as this doesn"t go against any rules or whatever.
Does anyone reckon there"s going to be any other way of getting a seat? I"ve heard a few things about some sort of "clickfest", can someone explain this? If I"m right that it"s done through this site on a week night then I"m buggered, I work nights, and I need to work to pay for the seat!

I would also like to tart myself around to purchase a seat from anyone who can"t make it. Anybody out there can message me.

It is not unusual for 3 or 4 seats to be available on the day of the event due to late withdrawals.  APAT will start a reserve list at midday at the venue to allocate any available seats.

Can you explain the "clickfest" for me someone? Will a new link open up on the site to pay via debit card and such?
Will day one of the national start at 2.30pm like the regionals?

Sure Chris.  The direct buy in (clickfest) will open at approximately 9pm on Tuesday evening.  At that time a payment link will appear on the home page at www.apat.com.  You can click through to our payment processor and pay via debit or credit card.  We can sell a couple of hundred seats in a few minutes, so the remaining seats will probably sell out quite quickly, hence a tip is to refresh the site (press CTRL & F5 on your keyboard) so that you will see the payment link the minute it goes live.

The national event will start at 2.30pm in Walsall.
