Western Region Leg 2
« on: October 08, 2007, 11:55:18 AM »
OK, looking forward to leg 2 of the reional events on Nov 10th. There is no tournament scheduled for Bristol, due to the clash with the Gala GBPT Final event. There appears to some doubt over whether Dublin event will take place either.

This leaves just one venue, Cardiff, staging a leg 2 event for the Western Region.

Will APAT be making any attempt to provide an alternative venue for this leg?

If not...

I know the rules state that points scored in one region can not be aggregated with points scored in another region. But, in this instance could special dispensation be given so that any of the points scorers from Leg 1 in Bristol could play Leg 2 in a different region and have any points they may score added to their Western Region total?
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

I think that is reasonable, providing they play in the next closest casino to their home address.  Otherwise, you would all be off to Plymouth...  ::)

Please send an email to customer@apat.com if you intend to do this.

Sounds good, we may have more than 16 players!

Well, I would rather drive to Plymouth than pay to get into Wales!!  :-\

But I live the other side of Bristle and so have a choice of 3 casinos that are pretty much the same distance from home.

Des,

Thanks for that decision. I"ll let you know where I decide to play, be either Vic or Luton.

Cheers,
Alan
