APAT Nationals - Accommodation
« on: October 09, 2007, 18:28:02 PM »
Guys,

I am hoping to play most of the National events (Fingers crossed).  Any local knowledge on hotels for the weekend would be greatly appreciated.  Preferably close to each casino and a decent breakfast would be a bonus.

Where are others planning to stay ?

Walsall, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Dublin, London.

Many thanks in advance.

Leigh

There appears to be a Premier Travel Inn close to Walsall - £49 / night.

The Longfields Hotel is just a few doors down from the Fitz, in Dublin. Not stayed there but it looks OK.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

The Future Inn in Cardiff comes highly recommended.

And Travelodge Saver Rooms in London are available for £26 a night if you book far enough in advance.

The ETAP is much cheaper, but a lot more basic.  Decent enough if you just want somewhere to rest your head.

The Premier Inn http://www.premierinn.com at Bentley Green is right beside the Casino, it is £49 per room per night, no breakfast, but value for money as its so close to the Casino, no taxi needed can stagger to bed lol
