I would have been railing the rest of the tournament, but Blue Square uses up so much of my PC capacity that I had to switch it off. ;D

And I lasted about half an hour without slow playing a hand. Worked this time though.

Out in 12th.  My AK didn"t improve against a pair of 7"s

Damage was done a couple of hands before when I lost over 70k when my Kings were busted by Queens when one of the remaining queens floated in on the river.

No medal, no points, 5 hours play, but I"m $12 up.  I think I"ll sleep on this before postings comments tomorrow.

Good luck to the final table.  How has Neil made it on there ?   ;D

I re-phrase that, how did Neil make it on there.

He"s gone in 10th, just missing the points.  Very unlucky.

Neil has made it on there with a mix of folding ALL kinds of hands to avoid the bubble initially (2nd shortest stack on cash bubble), with some luck with 66 that hit the flop for the third time tonight (first two didn"t get me paid), then with some horrendous luck with A6s committed to calling against AA on a K97 board then hitting 8 on turn and 10 on river. I did apologise ...  :-\

I made it to final table with short stack (66k). With A6 again I made top pair on 456 all diamond board, I pushed, was called by the Ad and the turn was a Diamond. Out in 10th.

Great experience, great event (I"m not sure I"ll be too popular crawling into bed at 1:30 every Friday morning though so let"s make it 3k or 4k chips). I"m gutted my name"s still not gonna make the Leaderboard but, in all honesty, I happy just to have made an APAT final table.
