Update :)

So I made my way to the Sportsman casino in London, and only 9 runners had turned up! I suppose that is what you get when you put a tournament on the same day as the DTD deepstack and the Dublin Deepstack. 2 of those declared they were leaving, so that left 7 and they had an idea of shortening the blinds and playing a SNG, not for £440 i wont, so I took the money out and planned what to do next.

I was freerolling a 4 star hotel as well which kept the girlfriend happy, and I went back there to make plans whilst watching rugby. I decided with the help of Joe Beevers (name drop) that I should play a few tournaments starting with the £75 @ the Golden Nugget (Empire owned) which was 10k chips and a 20 min clock, some good play and a range of opponents but unfortunately the cards didnt work in my favour and I went out 19/44, not the end of the world but 77 into AA generally is :(

I have £345 left of the syndicate money and plans are afoot, ofc this blog will be first to know :)

Bankroll update

So I now have 3 bankrolls running across a few sites, I was getting bored of stars so I have decided to mix it up.

Pokerstars $407.59
Full Tilt Poker $30.62 (started at $19)
Black Belt Poker £52.05 (started at £15) = approx $81.62

on Pokerstars I have been grinding away rebuilding what I lost and the come back is in hand, I have stayed away from cash as much as possible at the moment and I am playing sit and goes.

Full Tilt I have mainly been playing rush, wild swings all the time at 0.05/0.10 but it is fun so I like playing it to mix it up a bit and I am making a little at it as well, so grinding away on that.

Black Belt Poker I finished 2nd tonight in a 20man $3 rebuy for $73, I was unlucky when my A5 didnt hold up against KJ for the win and found it hard work from there and eventually got it in a flop of a flush draw and two overs and missed it all, happy with that result though as I got to the FT in last place, patience + luck + timed aggression ftw  8)

Totaliser across all 3 in dollars;

+$519.83 (£331.57)

£83.43 to go or approx $130.81 (end game is in sight!)

Got some work on Sat for £75 (about £60 after tax, I might just bung that in as well, cheat  :P)

It is all going a bit wrong, I am bleeding cash like I am a millionaire and it means nothing.

First thing; casinos on poker websites are the worst thing ever, so bye bye black belt bankroll.

My full tilt bank roll still exists and is at $35.04 not much movement here.

My Stars bankroll is $332.64 I am still bleeding money on cash and sng"s aren"t going very well either. So stop for today.

really disappointed to be honest just not running well at all.

total cash profit is $72 from a high of $176 and I have moved down to NL10.

Totaliser +$367.68 (down swing of $152.15 :()

So I have given up cash for a bit and Stars was doing my head in. So I thought I would take a stab at some sats on Full Tilt.

First one I loaded up was a $3.50 +30c PLO HU shoot out with 64 runners, to sat into the FTOPS PLO $216 buy in.

I didnt expect to get too far which is a bit silly when doing a spin up but I think my game has come on enough that if i get some luck i"ll take it down.

So down to 8 runners and I was facing the FTOPS XIII NLHE HU champ, suprised to see him at $3 but oh well, NNNobodYYY. Schooled him lol and then got to the final two.

so its a $4.20 profit or a $212.20 profit. after a tense start I managed to get the guy onto my game and got him with a rivered full house for most of his stack it was then just a bit of patience and boom seat in the bag

unreg and add to the BR tyvm :)

im not converting it to cash at the second as I am going to play a few more tournaments and a 5% charge puts you off. So after an annoying couple of days

Totaliser +$579.88 and a big smile on my face  ;D

Very well done, I wouldn"t be able to resist the chance of a $216 PLO game but yours is probably the sensible option.

Final update.

The spin up is over, nooooo not because I lost it all but because time is up and I was pretty much on the target.

I originally set out to get £425 and I got to £380 in the alloted time frame.

and all of this mainly on Pokerstars and Full Tilt

I definitely learn"t a few things whilst playing this though;

Mixed PLO/NLHE is my favourite variant
I like PLO8 too
I"m a PLO HU champ  ::)
I"m not great at cash (you might say I either suck, run bad or both)
I"m better than average at Sit and Gos
I"m not bad at MTT"s either
I can do bankroll management
I am probably too nitty with my stake sizes
Badugi is pure gamble but is fun

So their you have it.

A big thanks to those who have supported me in the many ways that you have. Special mentions go to Stuart (SirPercival), Chris (hiamchris) and Ger (the duke).

I"ll have to think of another blog series shortly, but I have plenty to do as the new League Southern Division controller.

Oh and staking opportunities available if you wish to invest  ;) ;D :-*

I am looking to play the £110 FO at the international tonight for the London Poker Masters.

I can put in £66 (which came from my winnings last night) and I am willing to sell up to 40% of me £44, prefer blocks of 10% but any other combos considered.

edit all gone.

I recognised your name from the seat draw but what I couldn"t manage was putting together the name, the face and the online name; that"s where I failed.
