Happy to wait for more announcements but feel free to answer if you want.

Which events will be assigned ranking points? medals etc.?

Will the National Leagues be the same format as last season?

Will there be online qualifiers for all the Amateur Championships and Professional League events?

Full ranking points (18) to multi day events and half ranking points to side events in Amateur Championship.  All events will award medals.

Full Ranking points (18) in Professional League and medals.

9 Ranking points available in Specialist Series, but will not award medals.

Full Ranking points in Online main events and half in Omaha Championships.  Both will award medals.

National League will run in same format, but we"ll have two 10 match leagues as opposed to 1 20 match league.  Prize structure to be finalised as we don"t have an 8 seat GUKPT budget for this, but we do have around £5k to allocate.

Qualifiers - yes, same as S3 - Monday $20, Tuesday $10, Weds $5 rebuy + $50 Pro League satellite.  Thursday clickfest at 9pm.  Same structures on all events.

Is specialist series a separate ranking league or do they go towards National Amateur rankings?

so 4 sets of rankings?

National rankings (live)
National rankings (online)
Professional league
National online league x 3 - twice

The Specialist Series is largely for fun, although each individual leg will award a Pro League seat.

The others are very serious Ranking categories.

Looks like there"s only 2 set of rankings, with the live and online ones being merged.

edit: no... actually it looks like rankings are effectively being removed, if only tournament winners qualify for the champions event. Clarification please?

Live and Online rankings continue separately with the winner of each receiving a GUKPT seat and entry to the Champions Final, alongside the National Champions.

so specialist series points count towards live rankings?

and professional rankings are separate yes?

Can"t even remember the last time I posted on here, write a 1000 times, I must not neglect APAT!  Excellent schedule Des and the team, after a promising start to Season 3, I didn"t get to play what I would of liked last year so here"s to Season 4 and a great tour.  Have fair amount of questions as well but I"ll let Stuart ask them as he"s bound to cover them at some point ;-)  Here"s to Cardiff (hopefully!)   Alan

you"d prefer it the other way round?

Spain better in the sun no...and Aberdeen in January..well is cold what ever the date!

and Aberdeen in January is under two feet of snow!!  and why is Spain better in the sun when you will be sitting in an air conditioned casinoe for the duration?

I was just jesting.. 8)  ..and I wouldn"t be playing for the duration based on previous encounters.. :(

Will hit the Irish with it in the "morrow.  They"ve switched sites recently, so no red tape this year.  Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
