S4 APAT Welsh Online Championship 2010

APAT are pleased to confirm details of the Welsh Online Poker Championship, taking place at Betfair Poker from 8pm on Saturday, February 27th.

The entry fee for the event is $50 + $0, and players entering will start with 10,000 chips and 12 minute blind levels.

The winner of the event will receive a significant cash prize, National Title & Gold Medal and an entry to a GUKPT Main Event.

A satellite to the Online Championship event will be available at Betfair Poker on Friday February 26th.  This satellite will be a $20 + $0 freezeout, with one seat awarded for every $50 in the prizepool.

In addition to the main event, APAT are pleased to confirm the Welsh Online PL Omaha Event, taking place at Betfair Poker from 9pm on Saturday, February 27th.

The entry fee for the event is $20 + $0, and players entering will start with 5,000 chips and 12 minute blind levels.

The winner of the event will receive a cash prize as per standard Betfair Poker payouts, and an entry to an APAT Professional League Event.

Both events are Online Ranking events; with 18 points available to the winner of the Main event and 9 points available to the winner of the Pot Limit Championship event.  The winner of the Online Rankings will win a GUKPT seats worth £1,070 and a seat at the APAT Champions Final, where they will play for a £20,000 sponsorship package.

Both of the events and the satellite require a password.  Please enter the password apatmember when registering.

144 runners in the Welsh Online Championship.

I wish mine had frozen when I flopped TP + Nut flush draw... against a flopped broadway.

Would have been 145 if i could have registered managed to get £50 on site with 10mins to go! but still could not register!!! 146 but ant66 has a more interesting story posted somewhere and is ravin mad....... lovin blue square!!!

Queens into kings wasn"t great then  :as: qs couldn"t get there v  ac qh.

only bonus is my laptop audibly sighed when I shut down betfair really not enjoying the software at all may have to play apat games on a seperate pc or summit.

Bloody hell that sounds familiar! Min raise UTG, one caller, me on the button AK, raise to 4 times orig raise. UTG pushes caller folds, I tank, then call. UTG flips Ace s , me nearly felted.
TBH my heart wasn"t in it tonight! Don"t know why?

yeh, never ever seen a 10min break before online. Might nip down the local for one. Getting used to Betfair is taking some time, very different site!

The bench mark I look for is when the average stack has less than 20 big blinds - how"s it comparing to that?
