2 apat tourneys
« on: February 27, 2010, 15:15:45 PM »
dont personally like the idea of 2 apat tourneys running at the same time,,,,i do like to take apat comps quite seriously and although i want to play in both,i also want to be able to cocentrate properly,,we all multi table at times but as i say i dont usually when i want concentration,,,,there are valuable points up for grabs lol,,,obviously i welcome more apat tourneys but just not at the same time,,,,this is not meant to be a moan lolol,,,well done for getting betfair onboard,,,im sure everybody is full of bright ideas like mine,,,apologies in advance lol

could always play one or the other, rather than multi-tabling both.

I shall be playing both, and taking them no less seriously than you, and will also be playing the Stars weekly 30k and monthly 100k VIP freerolls on the side.

I prefer them at the same time. There was a suggestion at one point of having an APAT online weekend each time, with the games on separate nights but I think this is better cos it doesn"t tie up the whole weekend. On a related note, I don"t like all the satellites for the Nationals cos if you really want a seat you can end up losing four evenings just to get into one tournament.

We had a long discussion around this when setting out the schedule.

It was felt that along with the online league games, allocating another evening for these would be unsuitable for a lot of players, and most players multitable when online (perhaps a generalisation, but I think it"s true), so the staggered start timne approach on the same night seemed the most appropriate solution.

+1

It"s not as if it"s mass multi-tabling, 2 tables isn"t really that much harder to keep track of than one.

touneys at same time fine ....maybe more time to think (TIMEBANK) as plo can be tricky  made bad choices when short on  time imo

Having chat history saved within the hand history would be useful, so when those people who make the "bad choices" in PLO and then lose, start the name calling , you can show the rest of the community what an arrogant "moron" they are .. ;)

Personally I"ve no issue with both the games at once, although I didn"t play both APAT games last night, I will in the future.
