Can anyone recommend a good chair?
« on: February 23, 2010, 10:27:07 AM »
I need a decent chair for when i"m spending a couple of hours at the computer, the missus keeps telling me that being hunched over a laptop on a low coffee table isn"t good for my back and i"ll be sorry when I"m older :D I"m getting a new desktop this week and need a decent chair to go with it. Only one must really, it can"t have wheels, which i"ve found is a surprisingly hard thing to find in pc chairs?! We"ve got wooden floors in our house and I hate using my gfs office chair as it slides all over the shop. Any help is greatly appreciated. Oh and max budget of around £70-ish.

Have you looked at Viking Direct Crizzy? Loads of chairs on there within that budget.

Just Wiki"d him. Didn"t realise he is head honcho at MC as well as Chairman of Portsmouth. How does that work? So your post may be a cheer rather than a dig. Oh I dunno.

Revolutionary stuff indeed but I get uncomfortable with my laptop on my lap. I like the portability of a laptop but looking forward to my new desktop to have a dedicated space with (hopefully) a nice comfortable chair and I wont need to worry about such trivial issues as where to sit me lappy :D

The 25" HD screen is going to be good too. Can"t wait ;D

Is that not a bit akward to use? I"ve ordered a wireless keyboard with a laptop-like touchpad built in so if I choose to lounge on the couch I can always do so anyway 8)
