I have been reading with great interest the comments on this thread. What made me chuckle was when Roscopiko said  "Doubt there are many social groups that complain as much as poker players" .  It would appear I can't get away from moaning. I've spent 30 odd years in construction as a wet trade and we never stop moaning. I've also spent around 20 yrs playing footy ( badly )and no one moans more than footballers and now I've fallen in to the lap of poker through gambling and Roscopiko  is right now I'm moaning about that as well. It just made me laugh.
   
     Poker at our level should be just about fun , naturally everyone wants to play well , But however well  we all get on in games and pick up prize money ,most people in the apat I assume are earning a living elsewhere. So just enjoy  it's a bit of fun.
 

    Mikeyboy9361 is also correct if you're not happy with the apat go elsewhere it's not hard to find a game of poker these days. There are countless casinos, online sites, pubs and people organising home games that will be more than happy to take your money.
 
   I've only been with the apat just over 12 months but I think the people who are in charge and help to organise this site do a great job to try and accommodate everyone. Obviously you can't please everyone all the time that's human nature but I think the apat has gone a long way to try and achieve that goal.
  Anyway gl everyone and I'll see any div 2 players on the tables, Frazer.

It seems to me that APAT encourages discussion in the forums and probably many good ideas have come from these discussions,,,,,im sure most comments are made with best intentions,,,but are sometimes mistaken as complaints by some members,,,,,i have made comments myself in the past,,,have then read replys and seen that i may have been wrong (yes WRONG,,u wont hear that too often lol).
       Everyone appreciates the superb hard work done by all the guys who run apat and im sure they like to see the members comments.I think anyone who is blatantly moaning is usually dealt with by other members shooting them down in flames pretty quickly lolol,,,have,,, fun,,,enjoy,,,including the banter lol

It"s folded to Tony on the button and I typed in "DON"T DO IT !" as I thought that the UTG player would not be taking on his team-mates without a BIG hand.  

If players at the table are not allowed to discuss the hand as it is in progress in case of influencing a decision, why are you given special dispensation to shout instructions from the rail??

The point here is that the Team comp is totally different to a normal game of poker so unless someone types in "I HAVE AA" or the like, then please.....this is NOT collusion.

So by your logic, two teams of two are sat in a 10 man STT and one player shouts DONT DO IT to his buddy in the middle of a hand, that"s fine because they are working as a team in their own team game outside of the current tournament in play?

I enjoy playing in the online league Division 3.
There is plenty of friendly banter with the opposition teams.
It isn"t something you get in the everyday online tournaments away from APAT.

That doesn"t mean it is ok just to turn up, to make up the numbers. After all it is even more fun if you are a winner.
