Live meet up at the English sounds good - How about the Friday night before the ME and get them to arrange a private tourney. Tighty is very much "in" there and can speak to / introduce us to the right people.

The legend that is "Tighty" has offered to book this for us for 22nd October, the day before APAT Luton.

Please confirm if you are definitely in so we can let the venue know.

Great work JP (and thank-you tighty).

Count me in please, and I"ll check with riverboy1905, merkland and lombardo99, and update on here.

I"ve booked you guys in for two tables on the Friday night

Maximum 20 runners

For an STT type format they"ll charge £5 a head, will include tables chips and dealers

For an MTT type format..ie lasting longer than 90 minutes or so, it will be more than £5 a head. You can self deal if you like and stick at a fiver. eg a 3k double chance 20 runner MTT ona  30 minute clock will take 4-5 hours, so two dealers for that long will cost.

Just need to know what structure and chips you want, and what you are prepared to pay really

What"s the thoughts on the Southern Division Controller getting involved? I know I play for Kent but I don"t treat any of my teams more favourably than another :D

Self deal ftw IMHO, especially if Ian"s very kind offer stands - I"m sure we can buy him a beer or 2. If there isn"t a 2nd dealer then we can always self-deal table 2 (i.e. deal with the button) and break this table 1st.

It was my suggestion to tiny tighty that we had a 3k double chance as the emphasis is on fun and meeting up and this gives more play for us whereas I take a standard STT format to mean 2k stack and 10 or 12 minute blinds and could be over quite quickly.

So for a £5 cover charge per person The G will provide tables, cards and chips - tyvvm

Waz & I are meeting on Saturday as we have both qualified for the PPGP Final (blatant brag  ::)) and will discuss some of the details, then one of us will put a follow up post where there will be a player list, which we will keep updating.

Thank you again Tighty

The rest of you, please watch this space  ;D

As a dealer or as a player?

I didn"t know you could deal....

Then again it has been suggested that you can"t play either!! :o

If I"m drawn on the "non dealer" table, I"m happy to offer to deal for the duration if people are ok with that.  Captain"s duty and all that!   ::)

Thank-you for Tighty and JP once again for arranging this already.

D/C 3k sounds the best option for the best chance of some banter etc.

If this is max-ed at 20 players, then the invite is for Luton Members 1st of course.

If we don"t get 20 runners from our current members, then I see no reason why not, as your also offering to deal!  ;)

Not just my call of course, just my opinion.
