Assurances around "getting" to Vienna are not really in APAT's control. Des is good, but controlling volcanoes and European air space are not in his skillset, and yes we will send him on a course.
With a significant number of players being local to Austria, travel would be less of an issue in whether the event took place or not, but we will need to speak with the venue on Monday to get a latest position.
And yes, you would be able to buyin on the day. Rich Prew is hopefully on his way back from Glasgow as we speak, unless he flew in the end, in which case he"s not yet worried about getting to Vienna, more worried about getting away from Glasgow. So we"ll know more when he gets in contact with the Concorde Casino.
