National League Week 5

John, many congratulations for finally landing an APAT title, now is there any chance of transferring this form to the league?

I forgot to set an alarm, but fortunately remembered to play! FT here we come!

Ten of us tonight - Raggie Maggie, Hallstar, RobDroy, TPTKMav, Steve007, Benway, T6isbest, SpongeDoug, icurtone, MintTrav. Skippy told me was a definite and he registered for the team this evening, so I guess something went wrong with registering for the game.

Early stages - 3 in the top 6 - icurtone, Hallstar, T6isbest.

Crikey, 1st break & 4 down.
6 left out of 40 - placed 6, 8, 15, 22, 30, 35. It"s gonna be tough this week.

All on Leigh now, no pressure then.

Well, at least it"s over. A pretty horrible week from beginning to end. We lost a few players early on, then made a great recovery and looked like we might finish up alright, with several players well-placed. Then things turned against us again. We had 5 players in the top 17 but none in the top 5, so there are no points for us this week. We repeated Week 1 in getting just 1 player to the FT while having 2 eliminated in 10th & 11th. We"ve got to stop doing that - the number that hit the FT is the most critical variable in determining how many team points are received. Next time we"ve got to convert teen positions into more FT places.

I didn"t see all the action but I did see Tony Redman [icurtone] and Leigh Efford [TPTKMav] eliminated in horrible situations. Tony reraised all-in for a lot of chips with AK and was eliminated in 17th by a pretty optimistic call from 33 (3 on flop)which was for most of the caller"s chips!? With 6 left, Leigh reshoved with AJ over a previous shover who had A9 and looked in great shape for a high finish until a 9 came late for a nasty suckout, leaving Leigh with hardly any chips. High finishes yet again for Maggie [RaggyMaggie] in 10th and Andy [Hallstar] in 16th.

Leigh's bad beat led to Dublin moving into 2nd place in the league and closing the gap on us to 2 points. I believe that Stockton will go into 3rd place - results to be confirmed, but Dublin are the big beneficiaries of our poor week. Payback next time.
