Lots of records set this season. In particular, congratulations go to:
- Hull City, for having a record 22 different players booked;
- Burnley, for becoming the first team in Premier League history to lose 17 away games in a season;
- Stilian Petrov, for having had more shots without scoring (37) than any player in the Premier League this season;
- Everyone, for conceeding 43 own goals - a new record;
- Wayne Bridge for making 47 crosses this season without seeing a single one reach a team-mate;
- Spurs, for extending their sequence of not having won at Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool or Ars3nal since August 1993 to 67 games;
- Own goals, Manchester United"s joint second top scorer (12 = double the previous record) after Wayne Rooney;
- Sunderland, for becoming the first side to have 9 players sent off in a single Premier League season;
- Richard Dunne, for increasing the number of own goals he has scored to 7, more than any other Premier League player in the history of the competition;
- Kevin Davies for once again committing the most fouls, which he has achieved in six of the last seven years, his total of 121 this season being his highest ever.
