Whilst gathering chipcounts, Don Logan told me of the previous hand that saw the end of two players.

On a board of  qc 8d 8s :2s: qh  all the chips went in

First player tables  qs 9h

Second player tables  qd tc

Third player who has them both covered tables.....................

8c 8h ?

Somewhat perturbingly news of the closure of UK airpace on Monday, possibly, has come through

Wold be grateful if any news on this could be posted please

We told the UK players, one of whom said "Don"t worry about that ash cloud, what about the one in here?"

Paul McGuinness news.

Raised to 600 with  qh 8h and gets two callers.

Flop comes

7c 9s ts

Both check.  Paul shoves allin for 3k.

Mad Jimmy from Antigua reraises allin and other player folds.

Mad Jimmy shows  tc 8s

td on the turn

qh on the river

And Paul is first of the UK guys out.

The venue here does not do player lists so we are literally flying without wings today. If you want to play you hand over your money, get given a seat card and sit down. simples. not simples for us to have a clue who anyone is though

You are right regarding airport closures.  Looks to be a ban coming into effect until Tuesday, moreso over UK airspace, South East will be affected, Heathrow still to confirm their plans on closure.

Will keep you updated as and when more news comes in.

"the locals are super lags. I raised 4x bb utg with A-K and got 5 callers. Missed the flop and then what?"

"they are running huge bluffs, three guys went out first orbit on my table"

"no raise will get rid of some of these players"
