travelling to Aberdeen

is anyone driving to Aberdeen from south of the Watford gap? and want a poker playing passenger?

i"m thinking of going just seeing what options are available to me

You realise where Aberdeen is????  you should arrive just in time for tea on Sunday :)

Good 6-7 hours from Chester....8-9 hours from Watford.

Seriously...train is the way to go.

Sounds good but then factor in travel to the airport, 1 hour check-in. travel from the airport. Not much change out of 4 hours I reckon.

Sounds good but then factor in travel to the airport, 1 hour check-in. travel from the airport. Not much change out of 4 hours I reckon.


My house to Manchester - 35 mins
Airport waiting time -- 5 pints ( 1 hour ish)
Flight - 1 hour 10 mins
Airport to hotel -- 30 mins

I"ll take that  ;D

Oh Feck I forgot to factor in that Ironside is picking me up from aberdeen Airport - FML make that 10 pints in Manchester  ::)

Mr. Steve, I realise its a long way for you guys over here. I think its about the same distance to the post office back home. We will be there before the night tourney...

easyjet from luton even now would be cheaper than driving
