World Cup Betting

Betfair Prices - as are tradeable.

Spain 5.7
Brazil 6.2
England 7
Argentina 12
Italy 15
Germany 15.5
Holland 17.5
France 17.5
Ivory Coast 29
Portugal 32
Serbia 80
USA 80
Paraguay 90
Slovenia 380
Algeria 490

For me - Germany and Holland looking pretty well priced - with a view to closing the bet as they progress.

A lot of talk with regards to the potential England Vs Germany match up - but what if it is Serbia? Serbia beat France in the group and they are 79/1 ... mmm back to lay ... very tough game for England I would expect.

Paraguay should make progress too ... so 89/1 is pretty large ... albeit they might get Holland in the next round.

At the moment my main bet is on Germany ... average in the Euros and the make the final ... decent draw if they avoid England ... 15.5 too big I believe.

I look forward to thoughts.

They are in the same group as Brazil so likely one goes at the group stage ... if the other one comes second they get Spain the in the last 16 ... hence the "value" ... all that said prices could look pretty big if they get on a roll ...

Spain vs Portugal could be fairly spicy ... starting to warm to it ...

pretty sure there is no value... spain or brazil win for me. England do have an outside chance but not at those prices.

serbia and ivory coast are the bets to shock...potential only for group betting.

germany will make their usual progress, semis at best though.

France however wont even get through the group stage. dont play as a team, terrible egotistical manager.....dont even deserve to be there. Holland are too dependant on van persie, will have to hope he is fit
