I have something positive about Aberdeen.....Ian (HaworthBantom) was born there.

Paul McGuinness limps UTG for 200 from a 1700 stack. 7c6c

Called in two spots, and the blinds

flop Jc 4c 7h

Big blind bets, Paul shoves and James Edwards calls with Ac 9c

turn 7s

river 6d

McGuinness doubles up and some.

Sadly the McGuinness recovery was stopped in its tracks

UTG raises, Paul Ships it with pocket tens.

Called by Ace King, King on the flop

and bartenders of Aberdeen rejoice as their recession ends, with Paul heading for a local hostelry or six.

John Murray, APAT UK Winner at the Vic 20,000. Always a threat in these, good player

We have pictures of the whole field and will post a few when we get a spare few minutes.

Darren Shallis and Carl Lybert are sitting side by side on 7,000 or so each

Their combined expression resembles a particularly constipated bulldog chewing on a particularly agitated wasp, whilst sitting on a bed of nails.

Ironside 8,000. It must be said that he is enjoying the social craic so much I can"t see him going too deep in this.

The Duke 7,000. It must be said that he is enjoying the social craic so much I can"t see him going too deep in this.

Amanda Ewings has 30,000. This is the result of flush against Flush to knock out John Lynch

"Are you local?" I asked

She shot me a look of disdain, and her top lip curled

"No I am not, I am from Dundee" she said

"Close to here then" I replied, busily digging a deeper hole

"No, we have more in common with Scandinavians than anyone from Aberdeen" she told me, banging the table so hard her chip stack fell over.

So, there you go, when in Dundee and you want a ruck, just mention Aberdeen, stand back and watch.
