Looking back on it now, 8.15am was probably not the best time to be leaving Cardiff to reach Gatwick for my 11.25am flight to Vegas.
Baggage drop closed @ 10.25, and @ 10.45 i was still in the car with my driver Jon. Not looking good to be honest !
Legged it into Departures for 10.55 to find baggage well and truly closed !!!
After much begging and pleading on m part, and a lovely hostess, baggage was re-opened and a short sprint later and i was on the plane. . . .. . . .. . . .

Just booked into Hooters 'til the 6th when i move to the Wynn for some serious luxury.

In standard fashion, i believe i deserve a drink or 10, so gonna check-in..and get out.

Next post may involve some poker related goss. . ..

Until then. . .

And we"re off. Day 3 was an alcol free affair. (turning down free beers whilst playing was rather unsettling tbh) and may have had something to do with the unsuccessful evening. Played the 10pm $80 tourney in Caesars deepstack series only to be eliminated 21st outta 136 players ;(. My J 3 just couldn"t get there when after 6 limperdd, my shove was called by A J, On semi tilt and i headed to the cash tables and quickly turned my $250 into nearly $800, only for that to be quickly reduced to zero when my i couldnt pass my A 4 on a A 10 4 board. My opponent holding the obligatory A 10. Got my just desserts for being a massive fish tbh.

Today i"m off to the Rio, to try swap my day 1d seat for tomorrow, day 1c. Will probably do some serious railing followed by a nice meal and an early night. hoping to post some pics soon. those of you who have been will know the place is nothing short of spectacular .. . . ..
