I didn"t think you"d need any help with tourneys ;)
I tried Hold'em manager, which worked fine on the old Betfair, i never purchased it though. They did seem pretty sharp on updates though. I also think you can purchase a basic software for the likes of tourneys only, or that could be Poker tracker3?
Sorry Tony, not looked for a while, but they seem to be the two top dogs, without going to specific sites where you can also get some analysis from pro"s(Think these maybe more than you wish to invest by the sound of your post).Sorry if that"s not the case.
Anyways goto the sites for two in blue above and you can download them free for a trial period. See which one you like.
Do not install them at the same time though, as i think the Postgre(database) may get it"s knickers in a twist.
That i"m afraid s the best i can come up with as i don"t use any software.
GL, i am sure others have opinions, paticular with PT3, i think AMRN uses this one?

I would recommend PT3 for cash but not tournaments. I have heard Hold'em Manager is as good, if not better.

Oh Yes Tony, i recall reading something somewhere about Hold'em indicator. I think this is quite simple in the way it runs, as in i don"t think it builds a database, but will show you percentages/outs etc, also gives you a Heads up display on players at your table(obviously only for that game) In the form of stats similar to PT3 or H"em Man. Vpip/pf>/AF etc.

Hope this helps, i"m not sure if you can trial this, try the site and GL with whatever you choose.

Cheers Paul

I preferred HEM to PT3 when I was playing a lot of cash online.  Not sure how much they"ve changed in the past 12 months though.

general opinion is that HEM is better but i have PT3, although the benefit is more for cash games rather than tourneys
Looking forward to making my first day 2

Yeah good point, but i don"t think he wants to play cash, i also misread he wanted something cheap for some reason.
I tried both and much prefer HM, some good add ons too. Guess it depends how far you want to go and how much time you want to spend analysing v playing. or + playing? How much time ya got? ;D

For PT3 and Holdem Manager, the benefit is much greater for cash games. I think there are other programs out there that may help with Tourneys.
