In the last league game of division 3 i had qq and folded to a reraise from a team mate when we didnt even need any teams points. Then a few hands later i folded A Q on my bb to his 3 bet. The 3rd time i had AK on BB and he pushed so i called and took the team m8 out. Loads of grief of him in the chat, saying i was a newcastle player in disguise  . Similer situation as you chip m8, i wish i called the first time i had a hand.

In his defence it was Wingates first game on sunday so he wasnt aware of who is on whos team and was his 1st team game hes ever played so its uncharted territory for him.
I will let him know the crac when i see him either tonight or thursday.

As a rule i only play super premium hands if a team m8 is in the pot AA KK QQ AK. IMO i dont want to race against a team m8 with a worse hand than that. Its not worth it losing a valuable team member for 3000 chips or what ever. If i open the betting and i havent got one of those hands and a team mate 3 bets i fold. The only time i would enter a pot if a team mate is in with a marginal hand is if 4 or 5 limpers from other teams entered the pot. I understand your frustration chip. Just a few teething problems for the first week.
