Olympic Glory is def the horse to beat. Can"t believe that Verrezano will win this one. CHOPIN, our german contender, gave his debut in April and finished 2nd, winner unplaced in France May 1st. Good ground and in a better shape now should be more than a good fact to make a EW10/1 Valuebet. Sure that trainer won"t make a sightseeing tour to Newbury.

Yesterday a very nice Win/Place bet with Siljans Saga / Prix Corrida Saint Cloud. German horses were absolutely underestimated. 2-5 extremely close, sadly another longshot by a nose 2. Nevertheless good profit.

Great horse. Trainer Gosden was a bit doubtful about ground and after there were rumours that he would scratch Kingman I
backed Shifting Power for 10/1.

Very disappointed about heavy rain at Haydock, first info was "Good" so I backed Gracia Directa. Make a note, if the filly will run 6f on good ground next time. Dislike soft or heavy ground.

Neatico is a interesting longshot in any combined bets today. (Longchamp, Prix d"Ispahan) when Cirrus Des Aigles clashes Olympic Glory.

Duesseldorf, German 1000 Guineas, a very competitive field. Ajaxana should be the horse to beat, runner up to Meerjungfrau and in front of 3rd Emerald Star (wins Gr.3 Lingfield). Couple of promising horses, especially Diamond Dove, like the 2yo performance, bit doubtful about good ground, soft would be better I guess. Artwork Genie, Ninas Terz and Feodora should be horses in any bets. But at the end maybe the english guest Evita Peron will annoy german connections.
