profit so far = +103.5 points

NEWMARKET 13th July
1:20 - Piper-Heidsieck Handicap
Illaunglass 16/1
Hello Glory 16/1

both could be well handicapped for 7 furlongs, i don"t like a overly exposed sort over the trip in this race so they both fit the bill.. Both have course experience and can act on the forecast ground... Hunt around for the best price as they vary from firm to firm, some are only offering 12"s about the pair....

1:50 - The Bonus King Stakes Handicap
Muaamara 20/1
Bayleyf 20/1

both are on decent marks and could spring a surprise, Muaamara won cosily at Goodwood and maybe progressive, Bayleyf"s ran ok lto at Sandown behind Pearl Secret and looks a tad under estimated in the market..

i"ll edit post tomorrow morning with the other two televised races...

2:25 - Cherry Hinton Stakes
Premier Steps 6/1

i"ll stick with the Albany being the better race rather than the Queen Mary this year, Sendmylovetorose is an obvious, Jadanna ran well in the Queen Mary and might go well.. Of the others at bigger prices Fantacise may run a big race, first time blinkers lto at Pontefract did the trick on boggy ground and at 33/1 maybe worth a each way bet...

3:00 - Falmouth Stakes
Barefoot Lady ew 66"s
Lay Time ew 14"s

i want to take on Golden Lilac :) just purely because she has never tackled Newmarket before [i"d make her around a 7/4 shot to win this]
Maybe has chances but the odds are off putting, Elusive Kate the other 3yo would of been on my radar if she would of had a run this season. Of the rest Barefoot Lady can handle the ground and Newmarket and ran well lto at Ascot behind Joviality, likewise the lightly raced Laytime handles Newmarket and looks like she"ll be progressive on this type of ground.. If it had been better ground today Joviality would of been my only bet in this race, the ground should scupper her chance...

the best of good luck with your picks today Achim...

Newmarket: Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Cherry Hinton Stakes - Maureen

Guess no chance for any horse to beat Golden Lilac and Rhamnus today.

Missed GRACIA DIRECTA yesterday (15/1 :(). Wins the York Gr3. Biggest success for Dominik Moser. Know him too, together with his father Rolf he worked for years at family owned Stud Trona and since 1-2 years he got the license to train horses. Congrat !

@noble

Keep an eye to JOSEPHINE BLANCHE at John Smith"s City Walls Stakes/York today. Last time the filly runs 3rd to GRACIA DIRECTA, 6f, good ground and 2 1/2 l behind. Stallion Tannenkoenig was able to cope soft ground, not sure what the damn"s gene. ??? Imo the 5f will be much better for her. Would be no surprise if she try to run the race from the top of the field.

Booooom, DANEDREAM. Trainer has his reasons to go to Ascot and cancel plans for Berlin tomorow. What a great filly.

complete blank for my picks, wish i was on Danedream, she ran really well Achim, i really wanted to go again this year to Ascot to watch the King George but the Open golf is on  :)
myself and Grandpa [who has a habit of visiting when i have some cigars :)] are watching the golf every day start to finish along with bacon butties and egg banjo"s in the morning.. I then break out the Reservadas Tequila in the afternoon which has to be enjoyed with a good Tequila snifter so u can catch all those lovely aromas and accordingly have a quality cigar..
cannot think why Gramps keeps popping around :)
