i going to wait till tomorrow morning and see how much rain arrives and watch how the markets shape up... as a rule i like to get on at the early prices for obvious reasons but the ground/field sizes at Donny seem to be causing the market some problems that i hope i can take advantage of..

its a shame Novellist has pulled out, as for Kizuna and Treve i"m put off by there draws.. Orfevre is a worthy favourite and of the possible dangers i"d side with the 3 year olds - Ruler Of The World,Flintshire,Leading Light and Intello..

i"ve already backed Ruler Of The World and Leading Light , push come to shove i prefer Leading Light of the two..

as a rule of thumb i either like to see a group1 run last time out as a good prep to the Arc or the horse has had a decent prep in the Prix Niel...
group1 last time out - Al Kazeem [loads to do drawn out in 18] , Treve [same again drawn 15] , Meandre [drawn 2 but not quite good enough at this level imo] and Leading Light [stamina not in question plus good draw]

Prix Niel last time out - Kizuna [only the draw puts me off] , Ruler Of The World [great prep run considering Moore switched twice and lost ground/momentum doing so] , Flintshire and Ocovango [Fabre say no more lol, interesting how Flintshire was ridden though]

good luck Achim if you back anything tomorrow, what sort of angle are you approaching this years Arc with fella?


as for today [i"d put up or sooner but i"ve had problems trying to log on plus 2 german sheperds i"ve recently acquired have kept me rather busy ]
