the fred total overall currently stands at +279.71 points

Newmarket 3rd May
3.40 - 1000 Guineas
Lucida @6/1  2point win
Terror @28/1  1point win
Osaila @9/1  1point win

Lucida - 2nd in the Moyglare behind Cursary Glance, Bolger then won the Rockfel with Lucida likewise a few years back with Finsceal Beo, he knows his onions, 6/1 to big imho.
Terror - never raced beyond 6f but her pedigree on the dam"s sire side gives some hope [Redback/Mark of Esteem] more so than Tiggy Wiggy [the other Kodiac] Watched the vids and if tuned up i can"t see any reason as to why 1 mile would not be beyond her.
Osaila - if you like Lucida then Osaila has to enter calculations based on the Moyglare plus lto in the Nell Gywnn when Hannon stated she wasn"t fully wound up.

plus all three have experience of the Rowley which is a bonus :)

Between us (my and the Mrs) we had the first 4 winners, unfortunately I only had the one winner from the back pocket  ;) the other 3 was kiddie bets, the 7.15 we went for Tiger Tim  :( To tell you the truth I cannot remember what we had in the last but it wasn"t Tohfa. But a good night was had by all.

Off to Lingfield on the 6th (Derby Day)

Chester 6th May
2.40 - Cheshire Oaks
Victoria Pollard @15/2  1point win
Zamoura @10/1  1point win

I want to take on Diamondsandrubies who is way to short. Victoria Pollard lto at Newbury was ok given the slow early pace in a maiden that over the years has produced the odd good horse :) Eswarah 2005 and Dancing Rain 2011 went on to win the Oaks. Islington in 02 was to win 4 group1"s in her career subsequently after winning the 10f Newbury maiden. Its a race i "ve always looked out for, Eswarah and Dancing Rain prepped next in the Swettenham Fillies Trial Stakes so its strange i think that Balding has chosen the Cheshire Oaks, maybe he feels its weak enough for VP to pick up some black type. She dossed when hitting the front at Newbury, at 15/2+ i think its ok to chance she will improve on that maiden win.
Also on that day Gosden ran Star Of Seville who won cosily in the same race in which Western Hymn won the year before going on to better things. Gosden mentioned bringing SOS back to Newbury for the Swettenham trial then, maybe a swerve from Balding which maybe a pointer to the regard he has for SOS"s Epsom Oaks chances?

Trip To Paris ran well Wayne, far better than i could anticipate from his draw/ground and run style. That"s a pattern class horse, the way he travels and finishes he could easily acquit himself with honour at a higher level.

Chester 7th May
2.10 - 10f Handicap [plus from 75 to 89 yards as the rail has been moved out :)]
Master Of Finance @8/1  1point win
Tahira @16/1  1point win

Chester 7th May

2.40 - Huxley Stakes
between the first 3 in the betting Cannock Chase, Air Pilot and Maverick Wave.. I"m going to give it a swerve as nothing appeals at the odds.

3.10 - Chester Vase
just a watch for me, i was all over Ruler of the World after he won this back in 2013. If Hans Holbein runs well in this i think that gives Bocca Baciata a very serious Oaks chance. [Legatissimo looks like a high class miler to me, stretching it imo to hope she gets the extra 4 furlongs and win a Oaks]

3.45 - 7f Handicap
swerve this race :)

4.20 - Maiden Stakes
swerve this race :)

4.55 - 6f Handicap
Johnny B Goode @7/1  1point win
Roudee @12/1  1point win

5.25 - 10f Handicap
Empress Ali @6/1  2point win
Ardmay @6/1  1point win
Ginger Jack @8/1  1point win
