Something happened preflop which ended up with Michael Martin and Noah Boeken facing off on a flop of :
: :
:
. There may have been a third player in too - but not after Martin bet around 60k on the flop and only Noah, out of position, called.
Turn:
Noah checked, Michael checked.
River: Something small (we can"t see too well, and when I asked Benjo he said "It was a Monopoly get-out-of-jail-free card." Thanks, man.)
Now Noah checks again, and Michael picks up a stack of whites and cuts them over the line - a total of 102k. It, however, is ruled as a string bet (in Europe it"s one motion only or any bet goes as whatever the first amount was to hit the felt - not his fault - they do that cutting thing all the time in the States) - so it"s a small call of 25k for Noah... he makes it but then mucks when Michael shows what looked like qh qs but could have been any face-card combo.
