Finally a bit of time for an update!!

Played poker on tuesday and came 2nd for 2nd consecutive week. It feels like i am playing pretty damn well, still a few little things to iron out, but i am feeling good, as soon as the varience starts to even its self out i will be flying  for a bit!

Currently watchign David Haye in a training session, then at 3pm on skysports 1 its a re run of his demolition of John Ruiz from his last title fight. Definately watchign that one.

Saturday he fights Harrison, and there is only 1 way it is gonna go. Harrison will be hit in the first round, realise how much power Haye has, and his arse will fall out. Haye will stop it in the 3rd. People try and big up Harrisons power, but 1 luky punch against a fighter who is average at best and was punched out!

Come on David lad, retire Harrison once ond for all!

No post for a week, sorry!

Poker has been, well... ****...over the last week.

The particular pureveyor of this misery has been non other than old TC Tompkyfish! Managing to get his chips in and come from behind massively. But, ho hum, played well last night, ran a cracking bluff with 6 high, 4 bet shoving early doors which was enjoyable, lost most of my chips when someone flopped a straight with 5 9 after calling my raise pre. Sigh, nh.

Seriously debating whether to play on tuesday and thursday next week as varience is massively tilting me at the minute. I am just hoping and praying it all comes back at Coventry. Like i say, feel like i am playing as well as i can, but varience is just being massively unkind atm. Phil keeps pointing out that this happened before last year, i can only hope that the similarities keep going, as it is becoming increasingly tought to take :p

In other news, i am skint til next friday, which sucks balls, and i am working without a day off until i go to luton next weekend, which also sucks balls!

Well, we are nearly there and, to be honest with you, i am shaking with excitement!!

There is nearly all the stockton massive in attendance, we are even bringing a few railers down with us!

Just had a re read of the live update thread and a few of the articles on the web, and it sent a shiver down my spine.

In all seriousness, as any live event winner will tell you, it was the proudest moment of my life when i won that, and while i might not win it again this year, i intend to give it everything i have, and whoever does win it is going to have to bloody earn it!

Also looking forward to seeing people i havent seen in a while again, the likes of Ger and James, i am sure the banter is going to be fantastic, its always nice to meet up with friends you havent seen in a while!

Well, another sleep out the way, 4 more shifts left at work to battle through!

general excitement amongst the stockton massive for the coming weekend, apart from the threat of snow which appears to be getting more and more real!

Well, thursday night and decidded against playing poker tonight. Think that the only thing it would do would be to tilt me massively, and i am happy with the way i am playing, so no need to run the risk!!

Watching NFL tonight, gonna look for a site to watch the cricket on, as the NFL will be taking up the tv all night :(

Awake at 6am due to over excitement, mother ward is plying me with tea, coffee and (hopefully) sausage sarnies.

Excitement is still there, undampened by Englands plight.

Cheating Aussies.

Harsh *******!!

Well, actually now it is over, its quite a relief for some reason. Was like a bit of a cloud over my head by the end of it, hopefully this is going to clear my head and let me get back to playing at my best :) As long as i dont get beaten by QQ when i have KK by some little scrot who put me on life tilt by calling clock after 2 mins of a decision for my tourny life  when i have top 2, THEN waits for me to go and calm down and come back, to tell me he did it "cause he was bored".

sigh. GG temper.
