HA! Forgot to mention. I shall be sporting a moustache when you all see me in Coventry. Every year we do a "Tache for cash" charity event at work, where we have to grow a silly moustache for a month. They picked November. So i will fully be expecting some severe jip when i am down there!

poker didnt go well thursday. ran my AK soooooted into someone who got married to 9 5 suited after my PFR. Didnt go well when he hit his flush on the river.

Shall be playing the online league tonight, try and get stockton some points. We struggle mainly because we only get about 4 people playing a week, which really isnt good enough. But, we shall persevere and see what happens tonight

Hopefully i get Gerfish at my table tonight :)

in other news, i am VERY hungover.

1. 9 5 hearts is pretty strong vs your raising range - I had to call to defend my limp
2. You fired out on an unconnected board and didn"t leave much room to fold
3. I had sooooooooooo many outs on the flop - had to shove and see both both turn and river
4. You still could have folded
5. I hope we get drawn on the same table at Coventry - will be fun!

Just got in from the local red tooth tourny, came 2nd, splitting first prize for a nice £50!

What a night though.

Early doors, got AK, and a raise from my good friend Gasry motson. One limper and i re raise fairly large, he calls. Flop has 3 clubs and an A on it, mr limpy puts 500 in, i re raise to 1600 ( you start with 2k)  dwells and calls. Turn is another A, he checks, my remaining chips go in, he snapos me off to show A4 and i double up and take him out. Nice start.

Pick up a few more pots. Its my BB and Phil TC raises to 250 when the blinds are 50/100. Get a call, i look down and see A2 so i make up the rest. I start the usual chirp at Phil, who claims he is happy. Not as happy as me when the flop is 345. I check, Phil shoves for 1500 into the 750 flop, other guy folds and i call. He then claims he folded because "my check was too hard". Nice read. Phil flips JJ and despite the turn being another 4 i take out the chairman of the Stockton Massive. Make the break with about 7.5k, have some fantastic food, then we get our extra 1.5k (bork) and we redraw for seats again. New table, some of the smae players on it, some new ones.

I get QQ and there is a raise to 800 with the blinds at 200/400, i make it 3200 to go and get called after a bit.

Flop comes 9 high and villain insta-pushes, i call and he sighs as i flip my QQ and shows his JJ. One of the other players proudly says he has folded a J. WOOP!! Orrrrrrr not. River is a J and i am taken down to 3k. :(

Lots of all ins later and i manage to get my stack back up to 8k.

Get it all in with K7 on a K high flop, against someone with 97 of spades with 2 spades for his life, he spikes the spade on the river and i am back down to 1.5k

Again, lots of all ins, with 44 standing up against QJ and a few other hands not seeing showdown and i make final table with 11k.

I then got a few hands...

KK led to another double up. AA stood up and took 2 people out and i got to heads up with a monster chip lead. We split the money as i am nice and then mark went on to hit a runner runner flush to beat my made straight and that was that.

Fun night tho, loved every second!

ALSO, i didnt use any run good up and used a healthy dose of run bad!!!

Off to bed now, work at 6.

Another bad beat, sigh.
