First one of second three bust out 143rd. Not a rousing success, lost with K10o shoving 10bb from my bb into 2 limpers, he calls with K10 of diamonds and flops the flush!!

Buy in $2.50 - 32/122/180 - stack 2.7k - blinds 75/150 out in 49th

Buy in $2.50 - 28/109/180 - stack 3k - blinds 75/150 Buy in $2.50 - 15/57/180 - stack 6k - blinds 200/400/50

Annnnd 27th in the last one, so no cash there either. Played ok, bu the avg stack when at that stack is around 10bb tops, so its deffo a bit crapshooty.

Still a little profit for the session.

Call of Duty time now i think.

Well, i have reached the 1k in posts for APAT, quite the achievement!!!

Tonight see"s me return to the home game for the first time in 5 weeks and i cannot wait. Only played poker once live in that time, which was a little 28quid profit in the local G casino cash game.

I am actually worried that i am going to have forgotten what i am doing... (enter sarcastic comments and jokes here) as it has been so long. Couple this with the fact that historically i dont do well after long breaks from the poker table and i am fairly nervous about it!!

I think my problem is that i am a player who relies  on momentum a fair bit, once i get going i am ok, but getting to that stage takes some effort, and i have to start from scratch now!

But ho hum, we shall see how it goes!

In other news i shall be keeping an eye on the new blog by Stockton Massive frequent visitor JBWorldwide. Top lad and should make for some cracking reading, we all wish him the best :)

So we have a dilema. I have £170 in free shares to cash in tax free from work.

We have 2 choices

a - Use said money to buy into a couple of tournies at the ECOAP

b - use said money to pay for a bit of going to Portugal in November.

Genuinely torn!!!

So! The European championships are just over a week away, and i cant wait!!!!

Poker has been... sporadic at best in the home game over the summer, as it usually is to be honest, it tends to get back to being more regular over the autumn/winter months, as holidays calm down.

Either way, i havent really played as much as i would have liked really, but it is what it is. Last week will be the last poker i play before the European Championships, as i am working this thursday and wont be playing next Thursday as its the day before we travel down to Nottingham, so i would like the save the money to spend over the weekend :)

As it happens, i felt that last week was the best i have played poker in ages. I got my stack up to over double starting stack, and had done it without any major drama for once! Then Phil got involved :p

I raised A9 pre, and he called. The flop came down A9x, 2 hearts, and we ended up getting it all in and he binked on the turn. I didnt take it well at the time, mainly as i had been drinking since 3pm!!!!!

Just cant wait to get sat down in the main event and play some lovely deepstacked poker and to see how it goes really. Not going down there with any expectations, am just looking forward to seeing everyone again.

So, despite the fact that i am now off work for a week, my body still decides to wake up at 7am, so i decided that a little blog update might be in order :)

Well, the time is nearly upon us where we get to travel to a far flung part of the country (everywhere is far flung when you live in Yarm :p ) and meet up with some great friends and play a bit of poker and drink alot of beers! Like Phil mentioned in his blog, it seems to have been a long time coming this week, I only had 3 shifts to get through at work and they took forever to get out of the way

The Europeans will always be a bit special to me, wont go into why :p  But i havent done well in them in recent years, probably due to the fact that i seem to think that doing shots of sambuca at 11am is good preparation! This has led to me putting an alcohol limit of 1 pint per hour on myself for the main event. Hopefully this means that i am able to make day 2 and the cash at least :)

Tonight see"s the Stockton Massive homegame minus Pokerfishpops and Lucy as they are at Leeds festival (i probably would be too if it wasnt for the Europeans, but you have to get your priorities right!!) Looking for a good solid performance (play every hand and luckbox my way to money) in preparation for the big weekend :)

See you all Friday, 3pm in the bar at DTD. Safe Journies whereverr you are coming from.
