For Mrs Redfern, her brooding husband...

Thank you, a lovely reminder for the children!! Although I"m keeping the picture of you in your hat in your "I"ve been naughty" pose, close to my heart  ;-)

Phil Tompkinson on the end of an interesting hand in the PLO.

Flop came down  js  8d  :3d:

Phil"s opponent bets and Phil called.

The turn was a juicy  td

Phil calls another bet.

The River was a fourth diamond.

Phil calls his opponent"s river bet, declaring the second nuts and a call.

Phil"s opponent puts his hand face down and Phil shows top set and second nut flush.

The dealer pushes the pot to Phil at which point, Mr Opponent is up in arms, declaring he believed Phil had folded and not called - and he turned over the nut flush.

Mr Opponent"s hand was declared live by the floor and he was awarded the pot.

Drama early on then.

Aah, so they let the real Brian Yates back on this planet!!  Come on, Brian.

Wasn"t there a gentleman"s agreement for the England team to share ALL spoils across the five days?
