APAT UK Amateur Championship - Online Satellites
« on: November 11, 2007, 15:41:22 PM »
The UK Amateur Poker Championship will be held at the G Casino in Manchester on December 8th & 9th.

Over 50 players qualified for the event via APAT Regional Championship events at 11 Casinos yesterday.

Online satellites into the event will be held tonight and tomorrow night (November 11th & 12th) at 8pm at Blue Square.  The satellites can be found under Tournaments / Specials / APAT.  The buy in will be $20 + $2 and the top ten percent of the field in each satellite will win a seat at the UK Amateur Championships.

Finally, a direct buy in to the UK event will be available at the home page of www.apat.com from 9pm on Tuesday evening, November 13th.  The buy in will be £75 and no registration fee will be charged.

The event is expected to sell out quickly, so we recommend that members interested in participating in Manchester have their payment details ready for 9pm.

Only 30 registered so far.  Still 3 and a half hours until kick-off, so plenty of time.

It will be as per the last two events, pre-authroised payments via the APAT payment server.

Please please please can something be done about the software.  On every hand I tried to play, the screen froze after I made my bet.  I then get told that I am in "SitOut" status and asked if I want to rejoin the game.  When I confirm that I do, my hand has been folded and I have lost my bet.  The only time it didn"t happen was when I pressed the "All-In" button in tilt mode and then I ran JTo into pocket Aces.  It did make 2 pair though but he got a straight.

As I said, I"d have settled for 19th!

Out in 49th after pushing with AK on the AQ4 flop - beaten by neepheed"s AQ. I wish he was the one having the connection problems ...  ;)

Oh well, 19th was not to be.  Gone in 35th.

AJ v K3 - no competition.

Good luck to all those still in.  The rest, see you tomorrow ;D.
