$25k even if you finish last???  I spat my tea onto my screen when I read that.  That"s no dilemma at all.  As some one has already stated, this is a no-brainer.  You can"t possibly jeopardise winning £12,500 minimum just to play an APAT game.  That"s crazy.  You only get £3500 for winning and that"s if you can plough through 200 runners. over two days.  You only have to get through 20 to win a life changing sum of money in the online thing.  I mean reeeealy fella; the buffets are nice, (if you get there in time) and the medals are very sparkly and it"s all very nice being clapped by a room full of people when you fail, but give me thousands and thousands of pounds guaranteed every time

Are you on strong medication fella?  Only kidding, but really, where does your desperate need to play in Manchester come from?  Is it just this specific event or do you just want to play a live national APAT game?

2 things - 1, i have never really had the opportunity to play in many big live games so i was looking forward to playing in it, now obviously my 100% priority is with the titan comp but i am lucky enough to have a wireless laptop that has never let me down so i wanted to know if i was allowed to play both at the same time because i was gutted when i found out that i couldnt play.

2, did i check raise you at some point, apologies for that, i was doing it a lot, it just seemed like the tactic that would work on the day, people were calling after the flop with junk so i was trying to take advantage of that. im sure you understand!!
if you ever remember some stranger who sucked out on you.

chances are, it was probably me!

Firstly grosvenor casinos expressley forbid laptops from their premises except in controlled circumstances i.e. Awop or Blonde doing live updates of GUKPT"s etc, or indeed APAT doing updates.

Secondly I think it would be great for you to play your game in a hotel just down the road and then once you know exactly how much cash you have won £12.5k-£100k jump in a taxi and get down to the casino to celebrate your success with us all by getting the remaining players in the APAT event Champagne (well ok Guiness) all round!!!!   8)

Best of luck!!!!  8)

That might be fun after the event, but would you risk that money on the quality of the hotel internet connection?

I wouldn"t.

As for not having played many live events.  Whatever you win in the Titan comp is going to give you the buy-in for A LOT of live events.  They"re not going anywhere.  This Titan tourney is a one off.
