Kicks off on Friday, really looking forward to this and think it will be very close, could go down to the last few singles matches.

I like Poulter & Furyk to be to top points scorers for the 2 teams and may even have a cheeky quid on the tie!!!

Some great match ups, think it might end up 2-2.  Surprised Furyk not playing, he must surely play in the afternoon.

Had a bit of bet on

Cink to be top point scorer for USA @ 11/1
Poulter to be top point scorer for Europe @ 7/1

Looking like a classic day of golf watching tomorrow.

Cink is a beast ... market"s bouncing all over the place ... flipping from Europe to USA being narrow favourites hole by hole ... time to sit and back the outsider then lay the bet next hole ...

Got to be a little bit careful ... but looks like free money in the over reacting markets as usual ...

I was fortunate to have a free ticket to this for Saturday"s play. I have to say that they have done a magnificent job with the course, and all the infrastructure getting to and from the course.  Play finished for the night around 7pm, and i was home by 8.15. It"s a fantastic setup, but just held at the wrong time of year.  I booked the Monday off work way back in January, as i thought it was odds on for a Monday finish.

We were in the stands at the 1st tee to see all the matches tee off for the 2nd session, and the atmosphere was fantastic.  Chants of "theres only 2 Molinari"s" and "where"s your waterproofs gone".  Sergio got the crowd going as well.
Holes 16 - 18 are in a sort of ampitheatre, and the crowds just line the hills and have great views.
I"ll be very surprised if they allow spectators back onto the course today, or Monday, as outside the ropes, it is just a mudbowl. That was on Saturday, so after all the rain today, its just going to be dangerous.

BTW: All the American players wives were wearing tight trousers and jodphurs.... They looked mighty fine to me.

Should be a very interesting day.

Current prices
Europe 1.47
USA 3.95

I think that is about right ... but I would guess score might be more like 8.5-7.5 at the end of the session to Europe so USA big enough.

Cink/Kuchar to the Molinari brothers at 2/1 looks a pretty decent bet to me ... money on Cink already to top score ... so I may just leave that.

I am sure more thoughts and bets in running.

Looks like Colin trying to win this early putting his strongest out first.  Just put my bets on and noticed that i backed mostly Americans !  I think the yanks will gain the momentum in the last 6 pairs to take it.
