Any suggestions on how best to get to Bolton (Holiday Inn) from Manchester Airport?

This if there are 5 of you sharing. Wont be too much more than £50 between you

Otherwise train to piccadilly then connect to Bolton (may have to hop over to Victoria station for this though)

Eoin and I have booked 3 nights (Fri - Sun) in hotel so we"ll be landing in on Friday as well (not sure of times yet as flights not booked yet)
