Luton Player Distance.

Just a quick note to all that have replied to my PM thus far.

Thank-you for the information, and it was very nice to have such kind comments too.  :-[


We average 59miles or 40miles if you leave out Cincikid who lives in Germany.

I wanted to see what it worked out, mainly in response to some recent, albeit friendly, digs in certain threads and in general about my way of recruiting, as I explained in the PM.

Just me bein senstive to the fact, and wanting to defend our clubs position.

We wouldn"t be as bad as the mileage for the Sunderland Massive!!!

i didnt get round to reply waz but I am 84 miles away.

that sounds a long way but it"s actually the closest - the next nearest is nottingham at 87 miles.

it begs the question, does apat have something against the east of england?

Yes you are the closest.  Not fussed how other club recruits, we just seemed to be unduly digged at IMO.

I have just checked on multimap and I am 39 miles from Luton - just call me Mr Average.

Promotion in the first season, top of the league in the 2nd, a successful "home" game............ looks like a good team to join to me  ;D

i know its a lil bit of fun, but it was mentioned by other on several other threads etc. so i got the impression, no doubt wrongly a lil under current

just protecting my players!  :)

27 of Team Sunderland live within 3 miles of each other. The vast majority live in the same pit village.
Plus
2 smoggies
1 monkey hanger
1 South Shields
and The Klup. (plus a few more who i dont know where they are from)
I bet we are the most "local" team in the entire league, pound for pound.

I personally dont care how teams recruit. More the merrier.

Dont people know that outside London we are the poker capital of the UK !!!

With 2 casions I bet luton has the lowest people / casinos ratio.
