"APAT sent to Coventry" I can see my own headline now, but for one APATer in the 150+ field Coventry will represent poker Nirvana as they will win the European Amateur Event, the final UK based national of Season 4 and with it several thousand pounds, a GUKPT seat for 2011 and significant media exposure. I mean significant too. Local newspapers, the works.

The G Casino Coentry is the former Isle of Capri casino, bought by Grosvenor, set in the Ricoh Arena, home of the East Midlands worst football team, Coventry City.

It is a tremendous facility, the casino, and of Vegas Standards





They are really excited to have us

I"m staying in pitchside room in the arena hotel

Oddly, it has a bath in the corporate box, which it is at gametime before being converted to a hotel once the Prawn Sandwich brigade depart

To be fair she won"t need you for support, that"s what epidurals are for and do you really WANT to be there anyway? I mean I love black pudding but I"d go off it forever if I had to witness it being made..do you know what I"m trying to say?  Urghhh..arghh..eek.
