The line up for this Friday"s live Poker Million final is now complete after online qualifier Gary Peniket won the last seat after winning a special freeroll at Full Tilt Poker.
The Birmingham man will be making his TV debut on Friday after a couple of near misses in other televised events. "I'm really excited about appearing on TV, but I am hoping I can shut it out after a few hands and concentrate on the job in hand," said Peniket. "I have finished second in the "winner-takes-all" packages twice before to appear on Late Night Poker, so it was a case of third time lucky."
Joining the 39-year-old at a high class final table are Gus Hansen , two-time WSOP bracelet winner Howard Lederer , cash game legend Patrik Antonius , Hendon Mobster Barny Boatman , Brighton chairman and multiple Poker Million finalist Tony Bloom , WSOPE Main Event champion James Bord and the winner of the stacked runner up play off Seth Webber .
So how does Peniket rate his chances? "I can't wait to tangle with Gus in particular as he is such a prominent iconic figure in poker today, and Patrik is obviously legendary in terms of cash games".
Each player is guaranteed $90,000 for reaching the final with $1m up for grabs in the winner takes all final.
The FullTiltPoker.com Poker Million IX final is live on Sky Sports 2 and HD2 from 7pm on Friday.
