Enjoying these $6 and $7 Omaha games on 888 and enjoyed railing Richard "Curlarge" Baker to a win in this last night. Seems to me that a large percentage of the players have got less idea than me about the strength/weakness of their hand. This leads to lots of limping, lots of flops and some inflated pots when they hit a pair or just about any draw. Very easy to exploit when you get big starting hands or you get all over a cheap flop with things like double suited middle straightening cards (still not quite sure what to do with these preflop myself tbh, so usually try see a flop).
Here"s an example of the kind of standard around on these tables. Not a bad beat story, I just got unlucky.....but important thing is that I knew I was way ahead of the mad Mannux pre coz he"d been getting jiggy with similar hands since we sat down. Saw him call a 4 bet shove just before this with 2/3/3/6 single suited then run like god with not much better against A/K/K/10 double suited before I met a similar fate with this....I actually feel worse for the short stack Taradog tbh, coz he had us both dominated.........enjoy
